This policy explains how Tammenny ("we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our service on WhatsApp or this website. By using the service and tapping “Agree” in the consent message on WhatsApp, you accept this policy.

1. Who we are

Tammenny is a preliminary medical guidance service on WhatsApp operated by the Tammenny team in Esna, Luxor Governorate, Egypt. Contact us on WhatsApp: +20 10 42196309.

2. Data we collect

• Contact data: your WhatsApp phone number and profile name.
• Health data you provide: symptoms and complaint, age group and gender, area, text or photos of lab and radiology reports (not the scan images themselves), and your answers to triage questions.
• Booking data: selected doctor and specialty, request time and status.
• Consent and preferences: your consent, marketing preference and governorate.
• Technical data: message timestamps and delivery statuses sent to us by WhatsApp.

3. How we use your data

• To understand your case and provide preliminary guidance on the right specialty and urgency.
• To show available doctors and send your booking request to the doctor you choose.
• To improve guidance quality and medical safety (e.g., reviewing triage errors, adding safety rules).
• To send service messages and, only if you agree, informational/promotional messages.
• For security, abuse prevention and legal compliance.

4. AI processing

We use AI models (Google Gemini) to understand your messages and images and to draft preliminary guidance. We read the written radiology report, not the scan image itself, to reduce the chance of error. The model can make mistakes; guidance is not a substitute for a doctor's opinion.

5. Who we share data with

• The doctor you choose: your name, phone number, brief complaint, specialty and request time.
• Meta (WhatsApp): messages pass through WhatsApp Business and are also subject to Meta's policies.
• AI provider (Google): to process text and images as described above.
• Hosting provider: data is stored on our private servers at a hosting provider in Europe (France).
• Authorities: where legally required.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside Egypt (European hosting, Meta and Google services). We take reasonable measures to protect it.

7. Retention

We keep your data as long as needed to provide the service and follow up bookings. On your request we delete or anonymize it within 30 days (see Data deletion), except where retention is legally required.

8. Your rights

• Access your data and obtain a copy.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data or restrict processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Stop promotional messages by sending the word "إيقاف" (Stop) on WhatsApp.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections, restricted access, a private database not exposed to the internet, and backups. No system is 100% secure, so please do not send information you do not need to share (such as card numbers or passwords).

10. Children

The service is intended for adults. Minors should use it through or with the consent of a guardian.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the new version will be posted here with its date, and material changes will be notified via WhatsApp.
